Monty saying pulp

(Pulp: Worthless literature)

Mario Monti, Italian prime minister, the serious man who was intended to save Italy from Berlusconi Era..., has said that having a long-time job is not funny...

His words reminds me Pulp's "Common People" song. Monti looks like the wealthy girl moving to study sculpture to the poshest school in London. Her desire of living as a common people, to work as a common people, or to sleep with a common people, implies the fact that she doesn't belongs to "common people", as a person can be a turist in a different place from where he lives.

Ironically, in the 80's the richest came from Greece.

Although the Pulp's original videoclip is amazing, this version has delighted me!

  2. Nice song!
Due to the period of crisis that we are living, here in Spain and in Italy, the words of Mario Monti about the job have been inappropriate, ridicolous. All goverments should help young people to find their first opportunity. We have trained and skilled people. Help them please!!! Is our future!!! Now most of them have to move to another countries. It is curious, in the last years people from South America, Africa came to work here in Spain, now Spanish people have to move to China, Asia to work. Curious!!!!

  5. I guess what Mr Monti means is that he will never be bored because in his case, just after pretending to be working for a couple years, he will get the right to have money from the government till the rest of his live..... he has no reasons to be bored... anyway this is just a joke, a bad joke, an anecdote, a bad sentence he will be sorry to have said.. what about the new proposal from our new government about the salary limits for bank presidents? I wish this would be a joke... what the hell were they getting till now? All this makes me sick....
