Listening 1: The Day The Music Died

We're celebrating the recent searching of SGAE by remembering "the day the music day".

On February 3, 1959, a small-plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa, killed three American rock and roll pioneers. The day was later called The Day the Music Died by Don McLean, in his song "American Pie".

We're going to listen the bolletin that interrupted the radio program to notify the accident.

This one of many radio news flashes that flooded the airwaves on the 3rd Feb 1959 leaving thousands of adoring fans devestated and in a state of disbelieve.
